Assessment and Reconnection Worker

You will ensure clients at risk of rough sleeping and homelessness are directed to services suitable for their immediate, medium and longer‑term needs.\n\nIn this role you will:\n\nWork with clients on their road to recovery by identifying their needs, helping them access appropriate support and securing suitable accommodation.\n\nProvide thorough housing eligibility assessments and support‑needs assessments.\n\nOffer dynamic support to identify suitable accommodation and help clients obtain it.\n\nCarry out some housing management responsibilities to ensure safe, high‑quality service delivery.\n\nAbout you\n\nTo succeed in this highly rewarding role, you would benefit from:\n\nAn understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people - including lived experience of homelessness.\n\nA creative and dynamic approach, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships and negotiate with a wide range of partners.\n\nThe ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment and manage a varied workload with multiple priorities.\n\nKnowledge and understanding of the housing and support needs of people experiencing homelessness.\n\nAbove all, we are looking for inspirational, committed individuals who have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives
