The Cloud Billing team is expanding in response to the growing shift towards consumption-based models for cloud software and services, where customer billing is generated monthly based ontheirusage. As part of the wider Finance function, the team plays a critical role in producing accurate and timely invoices for our rapidly growing Cloud & Consumption business.

Your Role

As aSeniorCloud Billing Analyst, you willleadin managingcomplexbilling processes for our multi-vendor cloud and consumption services. You'llownlargedatasets, gain a deep understanding of a wide range of vendor products, and ensure billing accuracy through detailed analysis and collaboration across teams.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver accurate and timely monthly billing cycles, including complex data preparation, validation, reconciliation, and execution of billing runs.
\n
• Lead the continuous evolution and optimisation of cloud and consumption-based billing processes to support business growth,operational scalabilityand KPI performance
\n
• Drive root cause analysis, investigation, and reporting for Finance Senior Management, providing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
\n
• Act as a Cloud Billing Subject Matter Expert (SME) and workstream lead for the End-to-End Cloud Billing programme, as well as other cross-functional initiatives impacting billing operations.
\n
• Support successful half-year and year-end audits by acting as a key point of contact for external auditors and providing relevant analysis and documentation.
\n
• Identify, implement, and deliver continuous improvements across new and existing Cloud Billing processes, enhancing accuracy, efficiency,customer experienceandultimately our KPIs.
\n
• Partner with stakeholders across Softcat to support the design,implementation, and delivery of new initiatives and process changes with billing implications.
\n

What we needfrom you

\n
• 5+years' experience in IT, Telecommunications, or a similar technology industry within a fast-paced multinational organisation.
\n
• Strong billing operations expertise with excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interpret, present, and communicate complex information.
\n
• Experience reviewing and improving billing systems and processes; knowledge of Oracle NetSuite is highly desirable.
\n
• Advanced MS Excel skills with confidence working with large datasets.
\n
• Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and solving complex business problems.
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and influencing skills, including the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
\n
• Proactive, professional, and results-driven, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
\n
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster high morale, and promote a culture focused on exceptional internal and external customer experience.

• Ambitious, self-motivated, and committed to continuous development and success.
