Senior Fire Service Engineer \nBraintree – covering (London & Surrounding)\n£45,000 + overtime + company van & fuel card\n\nWe're looking for an experienced Senior Service Engineer to service, maintain, fault-find and carry out small works on fire alarm systems across London and the surrounding areas. We're looking for someone who shares these values and can work independently while supporting the wider engineering team.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n•\tService, maintain and fault-find on a wide range of fire alarm systems.\n•\tCarry out system takeovers, commissioning support and customer training.\n•\tComplete service reports and documentation accurately using company systems.\n•\tParticipate in the on-call rota.\n•\tRecommend system improvements and identify quotation opportunities.\n•\tMaintain company equipment and vehicle to a high standard.\n•\tFollow all company health & safety procedures.\n•\tSenior Engineer Duties\n•\tProvide technical support and mentoring to engineers.\n•\tAssist with fault finding and engineer training.\n•\tSupport engineer and subcontractor audits.\n•\tWork on complex Cause & Effect programming and Gent addressable systems.\n•\tEssential Requirements\n•\tMinimum 5 years' experience working on fire alarm systems.\n•\tStrong knowledge of current fire regulations.\n•\tExperience with Gent, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, SMS and similar systems.\n•\tAbility to work on complex Cause & Effect and Gent addressable systems.\n•\tFull UK Driving Licence.\n•\tBasic Microsoft Office skills.\n\nDesirable: CSCS/ECS, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness and First Aid.\n\nPackage\n•\tCompetitive salary (DOE).\n•\t40-hour week (08:00–16:30).\n•\tPaid travel time after 30 minutes each way.\n•\tOvertime available.\n•\tOn-call allowance (£150 per week) plus 1.5x door-to-door call-out pay.\n•\tCompany van, fuel card, phone and laptop.\n•\tPrivate use of company vehicle.\n•\t25 days holiday plus bank holidays.\n•\tPension, healthcare and company training.\n•\tPermanent, full-time position.\n\nPlease contact Luca on (phone number removed) / (url removed) to discuss the role in more detail.\n\nSkills Required\n\nService, maintain and fault-find on a wide range of fire alarm systems.\nCarry out system takeovers, commissioning support and customer training.\nComplete service reports and documentation accurately using company systems.\n\nQualifications Required\nMinimum 5 years' experience working on fire alarm systems.\nDesirable: CSCS/ECS, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness and First Aid.\n\nKeywords\nService Engineer\nFire Service Engineer\nSenior Service Engineer
